The straight-through feed is characterized by high production efficiency. It is especially suitable for grinding workpieces such as the two end faces of bearing rollers, inner and outer rings, etc.

Reciprocating feeding means that the workpiece is placed in the fixture and reciprocates between the grinding wheel. Swing feeding means that the workpiece is placed in the oscillating rocker arm fixture and passes through the grinding wheel in an arc track. These two methods have low manufacturing cost and lower production efficiency than disc type and straight-through type, but their greater advantages are high grinding accuracy, economy and flexibility.
