In pneumatic transmission, the pressure energy of compressed gas is converted into a mechanical cylinder cylinder (10-energy pneumatic actuator. The cylinder has two types of reciprocating linear motion and reciprocating swing (see figure). Cylinders that do reciprocating linear motion can be divided into four types: single-acting cylinders, double-acting cylinders, diaphragm cylinders and impact cylinders.

The air pressure pushes the piston to generate thrust and extends, and returns by spring or self-weight. Double-acting cylinder: alternately supplies air from both sides of the piston, in one or Two directions output force, diaphragm cylinder: replace the piston with a diaphragm, output force in one direction only, and reset with a spring. Its sealing performance is good, but the stroke is short.

Impact cylinder: This is a new type of element. It converts the pressure energy of the compressed gas into the kinetic energy of the high-speed (10~20 m/s) movement of the piston to do work. Rod-less cylinder: a general term for a cylinder without a piston rod. There are two types of magnetic cylinders and cable cylinders. The reciprocating cylinder is called the swing cylinder. The inner cavity is divided into two by the blade, and the air is alternately supplied to the two cavities.

The output shaft does a swing motion, and the swing angle is less than 280 °. In addition, there are rotary cylinders, gas-liquid damping cylinders and stepping cylinders. The structure editing cylinder is composed of cylinder barrel, end cover, piston, piston rod and seals. Its internal structure is shown in the figure: cylinder schematic diagram The inner diameter of the cylinder barrel represents the output force of the cylinder.

The piston should slide back and forth smoothly in the cylinder barrel, and the surface roughness of the inner surface of the cylinder barrel should reach Ra0.8μm. The combined sealing ring is used on the CM2 cylinder piston to complete the two-way sealing, and the piston and piston rod are connected by pressure riveting without nuts.
